- Cerebral Palsy (CP)
Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a group of neurological disorders that affect movement, muscle tone, and posture. It results from damage to the developing brain, often occurring before birth or in early childhood. Children with CP may experience difficulties with coordination, muscle control, balance, and motor skills, which can impact their ability to perform everyday activities. While CP is a lifelong condition, early intervention, therapy, and assistive technologies can significantly improve mobility and quality of life.
At Aster DYU Child Development Centre, we provide specialized care for children with Cerebral Palsy, offering comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and assistive strategies to enhance their functional abilities. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with families to create individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and overall well-being.
